Thinking Space facilitates the Joint Conference of Sapere and The Philosophy Foundation
Founded in 1992, SAPERE is the internationally recognised educational charity that brings together a network of people throughout the UK practising and promoting philosophical enquiry for children and communities, often referred to as P4C.
The Philosophy Foundation is the only charity in the world that trains philosophy graduates to do philosophy in schools in order to develop children’s autonomous learning, higher-order thinking skills, as well as critical and creative thinking.
Grace and Amber from Thinking Space were delighted to have been asked to facilitate their first Joint Conference at Conway Hall, London. The conference focussed on mapping out the common ground and key differences between the work of both orginisations, as well as looking to the future of work promoting philosophical enquiry in education.
