In November 2014, Grace was invited by colleagues from Norwich University of the Arts to lead a day of modelling followed by a discussion on the use of philosophical enquiry in the education of art and design students. Karl Foster and Shaun Camp have been experimenting with enquiry based learning in their capacity as lecturers in art and design and in their work as Hedsor. Our work together explored ways in which students may be encouraged to appreciate the value of thinking processes for artists and designers and to shift the focus from end products. The days of workshops were very well received by students and the ideas shared by Thinking Space will be further developed by Karl and Shaun as they work on materials to share with the rest of their colleagues in their faculty.
