I summer 2017, we were guests of the glorious Deer Shed Festival in North Yorkshire.
In this exciting new strand of work, we invited philosophers to speak on their current preoccupations. Our guests spoke on philosophy of games, nature and art and our team ran activities with festival-goers helping them understand and unpick things. We had loads of fun talking about playing games in utopia, whether festivals are natural and if the pattern on your latte is an emergent art form.
Thanks to our philosophers and guest speakers for being both clever and daft – and to the audience of adults and kids who got stuck into all the activities.
