Community Conversations with women affected by violence and abuse
Over summer 2017, we were delighted to work with with Ashiana – a charity that support and empower those from Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic and Refugee (BAMER) communities whose lives have been affected by violence and abuse to take control of their lives and move forward into healthy, stable and safer futures.
Together we asked ‘What is beautiful?’ with participants from around the world, sharing their concepts of beauty in nature, art, architecture, people and ideas.
Participant-led philosophical enquiry of the kind we offer, has the potential to help people think and communicate their thinking more clearly. In communities where voices have been marginalised, this is critical.
We are currently seeking funding to develop this work further.
