Thinking Space
SERVICES
Facilitation
We facilitate philosophy lessons, workshops and events for children and adults of all ages, backgrounds and levels of experience.
Drawing on evidence-based pedagogy that is grounded in practical experience and extensive philosophical study, we devise both the content and shape of our sessions with attention to the interests of particular communities and the schools, institutions and services that work with them.

Thinking Space creates opportunities for people to benefit from philosophical conversation by working with the individuals and organisations that know them best. By serving schools, universities, charities, councils, museums, businesses, libraries, hospitals and community groups, we have helped thousands of people to improve the quality of their thinking and communication.
Our taster sessions, training courses, modelling and mentoring help hundreds of teachers, academics, community workers and creatives to start using philosophical enquiry in their work every year. Here is our full menu and our current price list.
Our bespoke facilitator training courses address our clients' specific educational or professional context and are flexible in terms of content, duration and budget.
We also offer a range of internationally recognised courses aimed at teachers, validated by SAPERE and Dialogue Works. For more information or to book, contact us.
Resources
We produce a wide range of original resources to support philosophical enquiry, including lesson plans and curricula for teachers, facilitator training materials and academic articles and talks.
Our resources illuminate the work of famous philosophers and find the philosophy in everyday experience, popular culture and news.

Projects
Our projects are based on strong relationships with partners that provide the trust and time it takes to embed philosophical enquiry practices in their school, community or organisation.
Alongside facilitation, training and resources, our public philosophy projects incorporate advocacy, brokering, consultation, resource-writing and research – all designed to help partners get the best out of philosophical enquiry. From introducing philosophy across networks of schools, to transforming university teaching, we can help you realise more ambitious plans for philosophy. Learn about previous projects here.
